Perfect for day trips! This classic pochade box design holds two wet 8"x10" panels inside the hinged adapter inside the lid. The lid is hinged and sits open at a 100° angle. There is a universal tripod mount on the bottom so that this pochade box may be mounted on any standard camera tripod. Palette measures 9x12.

History
Introduced in 2007 as the fourth Guerrilla Painter pochade box, the Cigar Box is our homage to the original pochade boxes, which were often simply recycled cigar boxes. It has a three-sided frame that flips forward to hold your panel securely inside the lid and a universal tripod mount on the bottom for use with a tripod.
Carl says:
“Because of its 8x10 size and simple construction, the Cigar Box reminds me most of the first pochade box I built. I cut the wood from a dead apple tree in our orchard. The lid rested against a wooden stop when open and so had only one position. This first box was ‘laptop’ only, as it would be a few more months before the idea of using a camera tripod dawned on me.”
